December is
a difficult month to blog because most of what I do is supposed to be a
surprise to my friends and family. But this weekend was dedicated to making the
house a little more ready for Christmas.
I started by getting the tree out. 5-6 years ago I bought a plastic tree, a white plastic tree, because in a 200 years old hose filled with peculiarities from the 50s, 60s 70s what would look better… JFor years I have decorated it with black, red and god bulbs and that looked quite stylish, or so I thought. But according to my daughter it was now time for a change and the team this year would be pastel/candy colors. I don’t think pastel colors is the first that come to mind when people think of me, but I think the tree is very cute so why not J
Next was gift wrapping. I cut open some brown paper bags and decorated them with ribbon and Christmas scrapping paper. I learned how to fold the bows here.
